There’s a reason so many couples are drawn to a fall barn wedding in Ohio! Here in Northwest Ohio, the changing leaves and cooler temperatures create a naturally beautiful backdrop. Fall brings rich color, comfortable weather, and an easy setting for gathering family and friends in one place. Tucker and Caroline’s wedding day reflected all of that with a celebration rooted in family, seasonal color, and thoughtful moments that felt personal from start to finish.

Tucker and Caroline first met at the YMCA in Galion, a simple, everyday setting that turned into the start of something lasting. In a funny full-circle moment, Tucker attended a friend’s wedding at Little Creek Barn shortly after they met and told his coworkers all about Caroline…long before they ever imagined they’d be standing here together on their own wedding day!
When it came time for the proposal, Tucker kept things just as heartfelt. A week before Caroline’s birthday, he proposed at his parents’ home, surrounded by family. Their daughters, Catherine and Greta, and their nephew Caspian ran around them, filling the moment with laughter and chaos in the best way. It was exactly how it was meant to be.

When Caroline began planning their wedding (while also navigating the final stretch of nursing school) ease and support mattered. What stood out immediately about our modern farmhouse barn wedding venue was how beautiful every corner of the space was, even with minimal décor. From the ceremony area to the stairwell, hallway, and reception space, everything felt thoughtfully designed and naturally photogenic.
The Something Borrowed décor room was a major deciding factor. Having arches, décor pieces, and styling elements available onsite lifted a huge weight during an already busy season of life. As Caroline shared, it truly took so much off her plate allowing her to focus on what mattered most.

One of the moments Caroline looked forward to most was right before walking down the aisle. The timing was planned perfectly to a meaningful part of a song that held deep significance for her and Tucker. With help from the Little Creek Barn staff, everything unfolded just as she envisioned.
They also chose to write and read their own vows, adding another layer of intention to the ceremony. It was honest, personal, and deeply moving.

Family was at the heart of Tucker and Caroline’s wedding day in every way. One of the most touching moments came during the reception when Tucker shared a first dance with Catherine and Greta to “Step by Step” by Brandon Davis. There were many happy tears in the room!

Their color palette reflected the fall season beautifully: rust, champagne, white, and greenery. Neutral tones paired with fall warmth created a relaxed, boho-inspired feel that complemented the barn perfectly.
On their wedding day, the weather was chilly, but that only added to the comfort of having everything close by. The bridal suite was a favorite space for getting ready, and portraits were taken just steps outside the venue . The result was a relaxed experience and beautiful photos captured effortlessly.
Throughout the day, the focus stayed where it belonged: on connection, celebration, and being present with the people they love.

What stood out most about Tucker and Caroline’s wedding was how personal it felt from start to finish. We were honored to be part of their day and to witness a celebration rooted in love, family, and intention from start to finish. Their story is one we’ll always remember and we’re so grateful they chose to celebrate it here at Little Creek Barn!
