There’s something special about hosting a winter barn wedding in Northwest Ohio…especially when the space is dressed for Christmas! The glow of trees, the warmth of gathering indoors, and the calm that comes with a winter celebration set the tone for Jada and Gabe’s wedding day at Little Creek Barn. Their black-and-white palette, Christmas accents, and faith-centered ceremony created a celebration that felt classic and full of meaning, proving just how beautiful winter weddings can be!

Jada and Gabe’s story began years before their wedding day. The two met in high school, growing up together and building a relationship rooted in faith. When it came time for Gabe to propose, the moment was simple and meaningful. On the first warm morning of spring, the two went for a walk through Wildwood Park in Toledo, where he asked Jada to marry him. It was a quiet beginning to a season that would soon lead them to the altar.

As they began planning their winter wedding, Jada and Gabe knew they wanted a space that felt easy. Not just for them, but for everyone celebrating alongside them. Having both the ceremony and reception in one place was important, especially during the winter months.
What truly sold them was seeing the ceremony space transformed for the season, filled with glowing Christmas trees and surrounded by the warmth of the décor available through our Something Borrowed collection.
On their wedding day, they loved how smoothly everything unfolded and how supported they felt by our team throughout the day. For us, that’s always the goal: to create a space where couples can focus on being present, knowing the details are taken care of.

The moment Jada was most looking forward to was one she’ll carry forever — when the double doors opened and she and Gabe saw each other for the first time at the end of the aisle. Surrounded by family, grounded in faith, and wrapped in the stillness of a winter ceremony, that moment perfectly captured the heart of their day.

Their winter wedding day was everything they hoped for — loving, joyful, and filled with Christmas spirit. Laughter echoed through the barn, families gathered close, and the celebration felt both sacred and joyful all at once.
Jada and Gabe chose a classic black-and-white palette, accented with Christmas trees to bring the season to life. Black-and-white attire tied the wedding party together, creating a cohesive, timeless look that complemented the season beautifully. The result was an elegant, winter wedding that felt elevated without losing its warmth.

Jada shared a piece of advice we hear often from couples after the day has passed: “Enjoy the process. People want to help out… let them!”
It’s a reminder that wedding days are meant to be shared, supported, and celebrated together.
